Dominic Thomas, also known professionally as Legacy, was in high school when he decided to pursue rap as a career. The rapper and his future music partner, Benjamin (Ben J), who was also his high school mate, began making music together under the name Swagger Boyz in 2008.
The duo, who later became known as New Boyz, gained widespread recognition and fame through hit singles such as “You’re a Jerk”, “Tie Me Down” and “Break My Bank”.
